
Stake and Family History Classes
All classes take place in the high council room from 7:00–9:00 p.m. Enter through the stake office door. If possible, bring a tablet or laptop—but feel free to attend even if you don’t have a device.
Need Extra Help? (once a month)
Join our drop-in sessions on the second Tuesday of each month! Get one-on-one help to grow your family tree, add photos or records to FamilySearch, track down a missing ancestor, or work on whatever you need. We’re here to make it easy and fun.

Take a tour of FamilySearch Labs experiments, see what was released at RootsTech, and learn how to use the quick and full name review features.
May 26—Taught by Jenifer Greenwood
Family History on Your Phone—Learn an easy way to grow your tree and bless your ancestors in small minutes of time, in the grocery store line, while enduring a boring meeting, or when waiting at the dentist. We’ll spend just a few minutes learning and then lots of time practicing—with helpers to guide and answer questions. Bring your smartphone!

Let’s go on a field trip! We’ll meet at the Midvale or Murray Cemetery and learn how to photograph headstones, add geolocation, and transcribe inscriptions into Find a Grave. This is a source we use frequently in our research. Now you can contribute to it!
